The General Darby Legacy Monument will serve to honor the memory of Gen. Darby for his contributions during World War II and his ultimate sacrifice as the founder of the U.S. Army Rangers. The monument will be a recreation of documented pictures of Gen. Darby riding a 1942 Harley Davidson WLA during World War II. As the commander of the Rangers, Darby used the motorcycle as a preferred mode of transportation to commute between troops.

• Build material will be bronze including a steel reinforced concrete / brick Plinth.
